List of UI ideas to improve the usability of BMPx.

• Add "Stop after current" to BMPx's menu
• Have a context menu on all items for direct actions on them

[edit] Library

• Add "All artists" to album list. If a given artist has many albums it takes a lot of time to click them all to add them all to playlist

[edit] Playlist

• Make playlists management similar to last.fm. So split its window into to part. To the left a tree with a list of playlists (automatic, last.fm tags based, custom, watched [why only one and not more???]) and to the right. Well a list of tracks assigned to given playlist.

• Blacklisting of certain shoutcast streams. Some of them are worth less than nothing
• Move currently played stream to the top of the stream list or at least make it stand out somehow (bolded, icon next to it)
• Add streamripper support one day. Maybe as a plugin, because it's I guess illegal in most countries to record streams.
  • I think the best way to do it is to support several (two would be enough) audio sinks. It will also allow bmpx to send to a shoutcast/icecast server. A good idea would be to have the same behavior as dual screen. There is a primary audio sink and you can easily enable the secondary sink if needed.
• Hide video playback window when podcast is of non-video type
